Ray Quint

Ray Quint is an award-winning producer and director of film and television. He produced and directed the ABC mini-series Bastard Boys, which received 7 AFI nominations, winning 3, and earned Ray an ADG Best Director award. He directed James Cameron’s Deep Sea Challenge 3D which was nominated for four AACTA awards including Best Feature Documentary. He has also directed numerous television drama series including The Secret Life of Us, Water Rats and McLeod’s Daughters, as well as the telemovie Balmain Boys. Ray’s documentaries have been selected for prestigious international film festivals including as a finalist at Hot Docs.  Ray has also taught at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) and works as a project development assessor for Screen Australia. 


Veronika Jenet

Veronika Jenet is a highly regarded and awarded feature film editor. She is a member of the US Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and was an inaugural recipient of the Australian Screen Editors (ASE) accreditation. She has worked with leading directors including Jane Campion, Claire McCarthy, Phillip Noyce, Kriv Stenders and Justin Kurzel. For The Piano, Veronika received OSCAR, BAFTA, and ACE nominations. Her other credits include Rabbit-Proof Fence, The Black Balloon, Beautiful Kate, The Waiting City, Lore, Strangerland, The Daughter, Jasper Jones, Danger Close and True Spirit. Veronika has been nominated for six AFI awards (winning four times) and four IF awards (winning three times). She was awarded an ASE Best Editing award for the mini-series Bastard Boys. Veronika edited the television adaptation of the Booker Prize winning novel The Luminaries. Most recently, Veronika was the editor of the feature film The Correspondent.


Andrew Handelsmann

Andrew Handelsmann is a producer, writer and director with a background in legal practice. He has practised as a corporate and commercial lawyer in Australia, the UK and the US and has experience advising on film and television deals. Andrew is a graduate of the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) and the New York Film Academy (NYFA). He was Associate Producer and Production Supervisor on the Australian independent feature film Circle of Lies. Andrew’s short documentary film Mistreatment has screened at a number of international film festivals in Australia, the US and Europe, including  the Canberra Short Film Festival (runner-up Best Documentary), the Palm Beach International Film Festival and the West Chester International Short Film Festival. Andrew was selected by Screen Producers Australia (SPA) for their Emerging Producers Scheme. Most recently, Andrew acted as legal counsel for NRMA Insurance on the award-winning feature documentary A Fire Inside.
